What somatic coaching is.
Somatic coaching is like traditional coaching, but with a special focus on your body and its wisdom. Your body becomes a living laboratory, and we explore not just thoughts but also those subtle sensations and feelings. It's about tapping into the felt senses – what's going on inside you, what you perceive from the outside, and how your body exists in space. You begin to connect to your embodied intelligence.
Our bodies hold so much valuable information. Experiences, even trauma, leave imprints, and through somatic techniques, we gradually release stored tension and access the body's memory. It's like giving a voice to those parts of you that might have been silent for a while. And through this, new insights, paths, and somatic tools are reveled to help you take action forward.
What somatic coaching is not.
Somatic coaching isn’t directive and does not have a specific agenda that needs to be accomplished. It is not conceptual based, meaning all about mental problem solving, instead it’s based on embodied experience. It is not a linear process and follows the more organic, ever evolving process of the body.
It does focus on setting “SMART” goals or pushing into goals that feel out of our somatic capacity. It is not a container that expects you to change overnight or overwhelm yourself with “to-dos”. It instead, is a gentle and deep container, which is aware that the nervous system and body has its own speed, and that is one of slow, organic, and steady steps forward.

Somatic coaching is for you if you crave a more gentle and trauma informed approach to coaching. If you have tried or desire to make changes to your life & present moment experience, yet feel as though you are battling yourself to do so. If you desire more connection to yourself , a life of deeper alignment, and a greater resource to deal with life’s stressors.

A typical coaching session is 60 mins long. At the start the session we explore a topic/issue/goal that feels most resonate to explore, and use you and your body as the guide forward. You can expect an exploration and conversation with your “soma” as well as specific tools, experiments, and prompts to open things deeper. Really, you and your body are the agenda and we follow that!

I don’t require a long term commitment or package for somatic coaching. Rather, I offer single sessions, which you can continue to do as long as you’d like, as well as packages, if you’re ready for a deeper comittment. Your body can be the guide for you in the process and I welcome whatever feel best for you

Single Session: $65-100, pay what you can afford.
10 week package: $600, make a deeper commitment and pay less per session.

we embrace loving kindness towards ourselves and our experiences, sensations, emotions, reactions, etc. we do not move forward through hating ourselves into change, but rather loving ourselves deeper into action.

letting go of force and embracing an “easy does it” attitude when inqiring and questioning into the body & the self. not needing to get somewhere, but instead following organic thread forward at a pace that feels resourceful.
